If it were possible to take a person's life and create it as a garment for all to see, Nick Zizi’s attire would be regal. He stands as a man of valor who exemplifies a unique depth of character. His life is perhaps best captured in a simple quote from celebrated author and Nazi concentration camp survivor, Mr. Victor Frankl. While living in the midst of extreme poverty and despair, he wrote, “What matters is to turn one's predicament into a human achievement.” Mr. Frankl also realized that man's deepest need is to discover his meaning and purpose. Likewise, Nick Zizi has unearthed the power of positive thinking and has taken hold of his destiny without restraint.
Nick Zizi has had to pay a lofty price to obtain the favor that now rests upon his life. During his early childhood, he struggled through a continuous cycle of failure that began in kindergarten. He was overwhelmed with a crippling fear that could seemingly paralyze the most gifted mind. Furthermore, he would often doubt that he could forge ahead into a path of success. Several years passed before Nick could reach within and find the courage to overcome his disappointment.
Eventually, Nick Zizi was able to establish a strategic plan of action to move forward and live victoriously. As a result of his resilience and determination, Nick graduated from Miami Dade College. He is also currently working on a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Liberty University. Kendy Ward, poet, author and speaker, is a graduate of Northwood University in West Palm Beach, Florida where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in International Business and Management with a minor is Spanish. She is currently employed at MCO Construction & Services, Inc., an award-wining construction management firm. As an author, her work was featured in “All that . . . and Then Some!”, an anthology of short stories. Her first full length novel is due for publication in 2009.
Ms. Ward was a member of Toastmasters International and served as Daybreak Toastmasters Club 5754 Vice President of Education. She has received numerous awards from Toastmaster, including Daybreak’s 2005-2006 Speaker of the Year. She has also spoken competitively with Toastmasters, reaching as far as the division semi-finals.
She has spoken publically at Nassau Christian Schools (Nassau, Bahamas), Northwood University (West Palm Beach, Florida) and Johnson & Wales University (North Miami, Florida), and Hope Church (Cooper City, Florida) on topics of empowerment and self improvement.
She serves on the Board of International Mastermind Association, Inc. and is the immediate past Vice Chair of William H. Turner High School’s Academy of Information Technology and Entrepreneurship’s Advisory Board.
jonathan laurince
Jonathan Laurince is an exciting singer, a virtuous Trumpet Player and an amazing Conductor, Music Producer and Song writer, recognized for his talents in Jazz, Classical and Gospel music. He was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti where he received his first musical training at his Church. Later one he went to the most prestigious School of music in Haiti “Ecole St.Trinite” where he became one of the most prolific trumpet players around his country under the guidance of his mentor Sir. Rene Jean Jumeau.
He represented the School and his country in several Music Festivals in the United States. Mr. Laurince currently lives in Florida with his wife and their three kids. He attended several master classes/clinics and already shared the stage with some Haiti music legends such as Boulo Valcourt, Reginald Policard, “strings”, Gaguy Depest . . . some Jazz and Pop music icons such as John Faddis, Wynton Marsalis, Allan Vizzutti, Fred Miles, Melton Mustafa, Louis FonciÉand also a few Gospel music legends such as Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, William MurphyIII, Ezechiel Walker and his mentor Dr. Ron Kenoly. On 2003, he started his first gospel group called “Jonathan Laurince and the True Worshipers”(TW) with some very talented and anointed singers such as his wife Mydiane Laurince, Yury Achile, Lucrece Augusma, Carline Abraham, Esther Etienne and Esdras Jean-Louis. Since then the group has grown in numbers as they continue to minister to different audiences all around the country carrying the Good News of Jesus Christ.
On November 2006, he was awarded as an accomplished Worship Leader by the Ron Kenoly Academy Of Praise(A.OP). He already released two albums with his group, the first entitled “Thank You Lord” which he received the “Best Gospel Artist” award of the year 2005 at The 2nd Annual Haitian Christian Music Awards’ from C.E.M.A and the just released project entitled “No One Can Do” on april 2008. Jonathan is currently working on two projects: his first Live recording with the True Worshipers which will be presented on CD and DVDÒ and his first trumpet solo album.

silent worshippers dance group
This ministry was inspired by our very own Vernell Hicks. On Friday December 23, 2005, the Silent Worshipers Dance Ministry was born as a result of a dance clinic held the same week at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist church of Pompano Beach Florida, which was inspired by Vernell Hicks. The Silent Worshipers Ministry is a dance ministry that consists of male and female teenagers from different churches in Broward County.
“We thank God for the ministry, because it allows our teenagers to serve God instead of worldly things. Inspired by our calling, we aim to increase the knowleadge of Jesus Christ. We encourage more followers of Christ To help people to grow, inspire, and capture God’s people through creative dance. We hope that we will receive the help from you to make God’s ministry a success. It is therefore very important that a ministry make the vision clear to the people who should then seek God for their part in it. The purpose is to declare it and to confirm it in writing. It is a way of giving substance to the things hoped for. It is a way of committing ourselves to it. Unless we do it, it remains as something of a dream, an idea, or a fantasy that can be changed.”
